Fresh from a trip south to lay down tracks for a forthcoming seven-inch record, St. Louis duo Bruiser Queen rocked Livery Company with a few new friends from Memphis on Friday night.

Opening the late evening show was the punk trio Modern Convenience. Bruiser Queen took the stage to a packed house. After a set of new material and cuts from their EP "Swears," BQ yielded the stage to the six-member rockabilly act the Switchblade Kid.
