The temperature outside was plummetting while Those Darlins kept everyone's body heat up at Off Broadway on Saturday night.

SPEEDBOATS, an incarnation of the St. Louis band The Breaks, played new songs, as well as their regional hit "Move On," which really livened things up for the start of the show.

Diarrhea Planet was explosive. The club was churning into a frenzy for the progressive punk sounds from Nashville.

Off Broadway's brick walls were dripping with sweat as garage-rock babes Nikki and Jessi Darlin ravaged the stage with their moaning drawl and lo-fi tone. The band proclaimed their love for St. Louis as "one of their favorite places" and then invited Diarrhea Planet back onstage to finish the evening.
