Tommy Halloran's Guerrilla Swing Quartet were the featured artists at the July 27, 2013 edition of KDHX's Harvest Sessions.

The unseasonably cool but welcome weather brought the crowds out to the market and many spent the morning at the West Pool Pavilion listening to some great live music. Tommy Halloran and his Guerrilla Swing Quartet performed old standards as well as material from an upcoming album.

Tommy and his band have the distinction of being the first group performing at Harvest Sessions to have their equipment been powered by solar power, for most of the first set, at least. This was a collaboration between KDHX, Microgrid Solar and Tower Grove Farmers Market to test the feasibility of powering the Harvest Sessions concerts with solar power.

Harvest Sessions continue each Saturday though October, from 10 a.m. until noon at the West Pool Pavilion at Tower Grove Park. To see upcoming performers, check out the full schedule.
