The head-banging extravaganza that is Uproar Festival rolled through Verizon Wireless Amphitheater on Sunday.

Festival goers were treated to performances by Avenged Sevenfold, Three Days Grace, Sevendust, Bullet for My Valentine, Seether, Art of Dying, and Escape the Fate. Sevendust arguably had the most active crowd. From the first note to the last, crowd surfers were flying over the barricades. As a testament to the chaos, the band actually stopped at one point and asked the crowd to be safe and considerate of other concert goers, which is unheard of at a metal show. Known for their theatrics, Avenged Sevenfold, didn't disappoint as they closed the festival with a giant fire spewing winged skull for a backdrop.
