Here's a contest that will make you whistle: we're giving you a chance to see Andrew Bird this Thursday at The Pageant and attend a very special soundcheck performance where you'll meet the man himself.

All you have to do is put a Bird on it. What "it" is, is up to you.

You remember how to but birds on things, don't you? If not, there are some examples in the gallery below.

Print out a picture of Mr. Bird from the internets (like this one, or this one, or even this one. Anything works), and put him on something. Maybe it's your dad who's asleep in a chair. Maybe on the door of your car. Maybe in an actual birdcage. Maybe your friend who is planking on a counter top. Just put a bird on it. This contest ends at 11am Central Standard Time on March 21, so there's no time to waste! Two (2) winners and their guest will attend the soundcheck and see the show.

Upload your picture in the comments below, or email it to Contest AT KDHX.org. Now, here are the oh-so-simple rules:

1. PLEASE give us some way to contact you in the Disqus comments field. Can't say this enough: if you win, and we can't get ahold of you, that's no good at all. There are a few easy ways to do this. You can click "Login" to Disqus near the comment field and login via any of the options (Facebook, Google, etc.). Alternately, leave your email address in your comment in an "Joe Blow AT email.com" format if you'd like (to avoid evil spam crawling internet bots).

2. This contest runs from now until Wednesday March 21 at 11am CST. Winners will be contacted via Disqus or a your provided email shortly after.

3. Enter as many times as you'd like, but only one picture entry will be eligible.

4. Can't stress this enough: don't put a picture of Andrew Bird on anything illegal, permanent or super-obscene. Don't vandalize something with Andrew Bird's face. Don't put yourself in danger putting up a picture of Andrew Bird (a bear trap, a speeding train, a water tower). I can't believe that sentence was ever typed. But do have fun with it. Again, you can see some examples in the gallery below.
