Another Record Store Day is in the books, and what a day it was.

Local record stores Vintage Vinyl, Euclid Records and Apop Recods hosted day-long celebrations of independent and local music, with special releases on sale, live performances, DJ spins and more. A few KDHX photographers waded into the festivities to capture the spirit of the event. These photos from the date are diverse and engaging, but given the scale of these events, they represent only portion of the day. The breadth of Record Store Day celebrations are what make the day special, and we can't wait for the next one.

Photos by Nate Burrell, Daniel Costello, Louis Kwok and Joe O'Toole.
