In the Benton Park neighborhood -- at the corner of Victor and McNair -- the Blues City Deli hosted its annual Streetfest, which is always a rockin' good time.

Featuring blues music blaring through the afternoon sunshine, people dancing in the streets and various po' boys going from many a hand to mouth, the event was an extremely welcoming all-day party for the St. Louis community. This year's event featured a blazing roster which included bands from near and far. The Forty Fours came to the Brick City from Los Angeles. Nikki Hill, Big Mike Aguirre and the Blu-City All-Stars, Matt Hill and the Deep Fryed Two, the Funky Butt Brass Band, Big George Brock and Miss Jubilee all showed the fine style of blues and soul coming from right here in St. Louis. And Morry Sorchat and the Special 20's represented the Chicago sound.
