Twangfest 18 continued at Off Broadway Thursday night with a strong lineup.

Rodney Crowell headlined the evening and held the crowd in the palm of his hand. Crowell and his band reminded us all of the power of a well crafted song as he played from his own extensive songbook and led the crowd in covers of the Staple Singers "Respect Yourself" and Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone."

Alternative country singer-songwriter Shannon McNally rounded out the evening with an outstanding set of her own.

St. Louis-based T & A, made up of Tom Hall and Alice Spencer, opened the evening with a solid set of well known covers as well as some songs off of their latest EP, warming up the crowd for all that was to come.
