Hipster jazz, old-school electronica, classic hip-hop and Latin soul all come together in the sound of Elastic Bond and its debut album "Real."

A collective of "multicultural Latinos" from the Miami area, Elastic Bond is clearly inspired by the genre-spanning approach of such artists as DJ Shadow and Tricky, and yet the band channels those highly-textured studio visions into a live groove. Cuts like "Find a Way" and "In Your Eyes" recall the classic recordings of Amy Winehouse, had she been adrift in the barrios and nightclubs of Miami, while cuts like "Solo Tu Amor" and "La Curandera" fully embrace Afro-Cuban sounds (and the Spanish language) to carry the listener away, far away, to world of truly international, even timeless music.

"Real" will be released on June 25, 2013 on Nacional Records.
