  • A friend of mine, Ethan Leinwand, is in town for the next few weeks if you'd like to have him on your show? ...he used to live in New Orleans and is really into older Blues, especially from St. Louis.
    Thanks,

  • Ron, I've been watching to see your playlist from last Sunday, the 6th.. You played a Stevie Ray instrumental, I think around 9:00. Right after that....the song you played, I didn't catch the name or artist. I think the name or maybe part of the lyric mentioned Linda Lou. Help me out here! Thanks.

  • You played a song tonight (6/1) somewhere between 8:30 and 8:40... sounded like it was from the 30s or 40s... the lyrics were about putting his fist into someone's eye, making it look like sweet potato pie, they were also talking about dropping someone into a lake, tying a rock to them so they'll drown... PLEASE tell me the song title and artist. I'm dying to know... Thanks!!

It was about one hour into your show based on the archive... Thanks, BB....

  • Love your regular show, you're a great source for the pre-war stuff, but today sitting in for Art you're playing great selections too! Thanks Ron.

  • I recently got a couple of cd’s you might be interested in. The first is by Eden & John's East River String Band. Robert Crumb plays with them and does their artwork. Yes, that Robert Crumb--my favorite underground artist. Dom Flemons, of Carolina Chocolate Drops, is on this cd as well. They play country blues from the 78 era. Their new cd is "Take a Look at My Baby". I have all of their cd's an
