  • How about playing some Montana Skies for us? They have a great version of "House of the Rising Sun. It is about ten minutes long.

  • Hello, This is Dave Black and am wanting to promote an upcoming show - Tues 1/28 at the e OF FINE ARTS featuring a duet performance of steel guitarist Dave Easley and myself on guitar. Dave is a prominent figure in the New Orleans music scene and is making his presence in the national scene as well. Most notably, he has been a member of the Brian Blade Fellowshp. I gave Scott a Press Release.

  • First time listener to your show. Love it. I used to have Robert Hunter's Tales of the Rum Runners LP, but no longer....If you have it around, could you play something off of it? Also, I understand Jesse McReynolds made a CD or whatever of all Garcia tunes. Do you have it available? If so, could you play a tune or two off of it?

Either way, I am enjoying what you've already selected. Thanks!

  • friends Philly Joe and Drea Stein are now friends
  • if you like Al Holiday, try the California Honeydrops(opening act for Greensky Bluegrass). I saw the California Honeydrops at the Blue Nile opening for a Stanton Moore band Frequinox, during Jazzfest this year. I understand that KDHX just received their music. I bought their lastest CD last May and I've played it 20 times.
