CANNOT BELIEVE IT! Jeff C's playing "Alice Blue Gown," an old song I love & never hear. I even sang it for an audition once, if memory serves. My piano teacher gave me assigned it to me during the 3 - 4 months I took lessons, around age 10?, and I've loved it ever since. Great version, too--THANKS JEFF!

  • One favorite song after another on Jeff Corbin's show this afternoon. Proof that coughing up cash during this urgent pledge drive is more than worth it. Big fat smile all over my face.

  • Jeff Corbin's segue from Commander Cody's "Too Much Fun" into “T for Texas (Blue Yodel No. 1)”--Lyle Lovett! LYLE LOVETT!! and Robert Earl Keen--so perfect it felt inevitable. THAT'S what I'm talkin' 'bout--

  • This is what makes KDHX extra special. Always enjoy Keith Dudding's show, Down Yonder (as regular readers may remember). He topped himself just now, playing a Sam Bush &c cover of "I Write the Book." It's something like watching a fireworks show: ooh & aahs & smiles aplenty, then BAM! SURPRISE! rocket blast of joy.

  • Thank you, Keith, for playing great tunes, particularly ones from the Bean Blossom Hartford Festival. Makes me both happy to hear them and sad to remember he's gone.

  • What are the odds? I woke up with "Blue Wing" playing in my head; Ed Becker just played a beautiful version I'd never heard. Serendipitous!
