About me
Aside from the distinction of being St. Louis’s least-known veteran broadcaster (30 years and counting), Chuck has been active in theater in St. Louis, Houston, and Terre Haute for 40 years or thereabouts. He's been mostly an actor and sound designer, with the occasional foray into directing and cabaret performance. His solo show, "Just a Song at Twilight - the Golden Age of Vaudeville" played to enthusiastic audiences at the Kranzberg Center and the Missouri History Museum. Chuck has also been writing theater and classical music criticism for nearly as long as he has been performing, and is currently the principal performing arts critic at KDHX, as well as the producer of the Arts Calendar. His reviews also appear in Cabaret Scenes magazine. Follow him on Twitter @clavazzi
