Your "recommends" spurred me to see what's coming up locally (central NC), and the Raveonnettes are going to be in Chapel Hill (more or less) 9 days after they hit STL. Sweet.

I will be taking doowadette and her friends to Cicero's this Saturday. Local (mostly) high school bands, all on myspace if you want to preview.

They are plaing the early show (at 5 pm).

Looks like St. Louis is going to have a LOT of fun over the next few months. Glasgow, Scotland was lucky enough to have some of these bands last year and none let down. A couple of these bands I'll have to go check out in cyber space myself now too. Hopefully we'll see them live on our shores sometime soon.
