Seeing Danish indie rockers the Raveonettes in such an intimate venue at this stage in their career was a special treat for the scores of sweaty fans packed into the Firebird last night.

Off Broadway was fortunate to host S. Carey for the band's final tour stop last night.

Colour Revolt opened the evening with a strong set, warming up the crowd at Off Broadway for the acts that followed. Singer-songwriter Richard Buckner followed, accompanied by Anders Parker.

Akron/Family offered up its own brand of experimental, folk-twinged rock to the crowd at the Billiken Club. The trio mesmerized the audience with endless loops, layers and 3-part harmonies.

Dum Dum Girls let the anticipation build, waiting until 11:15 p.m. to take the stage at the Billiken Club.

Kid Congo Powers and the Pink Monkey Birds rocked through a Sunday night set at Off Broadway.

Saturday night Chatham County Line filled Off Broadway with sweet bluegrass harmonies and the impressive songwriting of Dave Wilson.

Three outstanding acts played to a sold-out room at Off Broadway last night. Samantha Crain started off the night with pared-down versions of her songs, accompanied only by Daniel Foulks on fiddle. The Oklahoma natives did not disappoint, and warmed the crowd up nicely for what was to come.
