Thursday evening, Off Broadway filled with friends, family and new fans as two acts with ties to St. Louis took the stage.
Japandroids guitarist and singer Brian King acknowledged to the audience that the band hasn't stopped through St. Louis frequently enough, and promised an extra-long and essay writer energetic set for the sold-out room at the Firebird.
Monday evening at the Pageant became a showcase for the Brick Squad Monopoly, the record label founded by Southern rapper Waka Flocka Flame and his manager, Gucci Mane (who made a surprise appearance).
