Spring drive rolls on at KDHX

Tuesday, 12 April 2011

Dear friends and fans of Feel Like Going Home.

Unless you've been out of the solar system this past week, you know that 88.1 KDHX is smack dab in the middle of our annual Spring Membership Drive.

This is the time that we come to you, our listeners and loyal fans, for the financial support we truly need to stay on the air. If you haven't already donated this drive, I hope you'll do so this week. And if you're so inclined, I hope you'll consider calling 314-664-3688 during FLGH tomorrow, Wednesday morning, between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. Central. And of course you can donate online right here at KDHX.org.

If you're already a member of the Radio Frequency Club, our monthly giving program, thank you! If you're feeling generous, an extra gift to KDHX this spring would make a big difference to the work we do as a community radio station.

Tomorrow morning I'll be joined on-air by one of my bestest of amigos: John Wendland, host of Memphis to Manchester. I'll be playing new and forthcoming releases from My Morning Jacket, Fleet Foxes, Alela Diane, Booker T. Jones, Ron Sexsmith, Josh Ritter, the Head and the Heart, Ha Ha Tonka and a whole lot of other favorites, old and new. It should be a fun three hours of music.

Tune in, tell a friend, and come hang out with me on the radio.

Roy
