Thank you! Record Store Day!

Friday, 15 April 2011

First, thanks to everyone who supported KDHX during FLGH on Wed. We did really well, surpassing the goal, and bringing in lots of new members during Spring Drive. Your generousity is what keeps this station on the air and what makes being a DJ for KDHX so special.

And just a quick reminder that tomorrow, April 16, is Record Store Day. To quote my friend John Wendland, this is huge! It's like Christmas, Easter and Arbor Day all rolled into one. Local shops are offering great discounts and tons of rare and one-of-a-kind releases. So get out and support indie retailers. And have a great time.

I'll be out and about at as many of the stores as I can hit, but look for me at Vintage Vinyl around 11 a.m. for Annie Z.'s final public DJ spin in St. Louis and then at Euclid around 1 p.m. The A to Z Blog has a great roundup of what's going on, so check it out here.

See you soon!

Roy
