On Friday I had the pleasure of hosting Amy LaVere and her fine band in the KDHX studios. The Memphis singer, songwriter and bassist has an excellent new album out, "Stranger Me," sure to be one of my top releases of 2011, and she played two songs from it, plus one old favorite, and engaged in some revealing conversation as well.
