Bulletins from Feel Like Going Home

Tuesday, 28 August 2012 by Roy Kasten

I had a great time at LouFest 2012 this past weekend -- rain and all.

Highlights for me were: Son Volt (with Gary Hunt and Mark Spencer on guitars), Cotton Mather, Dawes, Dr. Dog and Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin.

Alas, the Flaming Lips show was not what I hoped to be. The middle of the set, especially, dragged on and on.

KDHX music writer Annah Bender wrote two great reviews:

Sunday

And KDHX photographers Nate Burrell and Kate McDaniel took some great shots:

Enjoy, and see you soon!
