All right, I'll give my usual disclaimer that I've only heard a really small fraction of the new releases which came out in 2010. And some of the releases I've missed includes artists who I think really highly of like Neil Young & Richard Thompson. Between discovering and getting more immersed in some older artists who I have previously overlooked or just become more interested in and balancing that with wanting to hear new artists, well, let's just say a whole lot of music falls through the cracks. With that said, here is my top 10 list in alphabetical order. Why not rank them, you might ask? The ranking would probably be different by tomorrow. It's all subjective, anyway. I can say with some degree of certainty, however, that I will still derive much pleasure from hearing any of these releases ten years from now.
