Fifth Annual Pop! The Beat Bubble Busts Black History Month Celebration

It's time for the 5th Annual Pop! The Beat Bubble Burst Black History Month Celebration! (With a break for next week when it's all about Valentines Day) This week we will be playing some of the following The Rolling Stones, Paul Revere & The Raiders, The Walker Brothers, Johnny Rivers, Them, The Beatles, Tony Jackson Group, The Yardbirds, Derry Wilkie & The Pressmen, Graham Parker and more,  all covering songs written by or made famous by African Americans including: Mary Wells, Bo Diddley, Huey Smith, Fats Domino, Bobby Bland, John Lee Hooker, Larry Williams, The Temptations, Ray Charles, The Isley Brothers and more. It all begins Thursday morning from 5-7am on 88.1 KDHX, St. Louis or at KDHX.org!
