Pop! The Beat Bubble Burst is Moving

Thursday, 01 August 2013

ATTENTION, THIS JUST IN:

Pop! The Beat Bubble Burst has been on the air for, just shy of, five years in the 5-7am time-slot on KDHX. I have enjoyed my time in that slot, but have found it increasingly more difficult to function throughout the day as a normal (well, semi-normal) human being. About a year and a half ago I requested a different time-slot that would address this situation. I received word today that I will be moving up to the 10-noon slot...still on Thursdays.

This is the old Fishin' With Dynamite slot that was recently vacated by Fred Friction who has decided to dedicate more time to other projects including his music. Nothing else will change with Pop! The Beat Bubble Burst. I may begin with something that fits in with John Wendland's Memphis To Manchester and will close the show with something that will dovetail with the Rockabilly that Al Swacker plays on The Greaser's Lunchbox, but other than that it will be the same exact same show.Next week, August 8th will be my last show in the 5-7am slot. The following Thursday, August 15 will be the first in the 10-noon slot.

Thanks to all who have listened and supported P!TBBB and KDHX over the last five years, with hope you will continue to listen a few hours later! -Rich Reese - Host and dj for Pop! The Beat Bubble Burst
