That was an awesome block you played that ended with Birth Of Serpents by The Mountain Goats! There's a band from North Carolina called Israel Darling that I would love to hear on the radio here in St Louis. I think you would really dig 'em.

@Julie : I'll give you credit for that Owen Pallett, and Kanye's album is a no-brainer, but I am sad that I don't recognize anything further down on your list other than the Margot & The Nuclear So and So's album, which was just OK in my opinion. I will now have to search these out!
