This is an amazing idea, its unfortunate that todays "80's" stations focus mainly on the hair and the makeup bands , when there where so many groups that formed the foundation for what became alternative music . I loved , and still love bands like The Dead milkmen , The Cure , Violent Femmes , They Might Be Giants , while still being into the hard rock/metal scene , early Mettallica (yes , i know) Iron Maiden, etc. then after a friend turned me on to the late 80's west coast scene i was hooked on Janes Addiction ,Mother Love Bone ,Early Nirvana and the whole "grunge" movement. Anyway, Im rambling now !! So YES, YES, I cant wait to hear what you put together.
