Old Playlists

Hello Fans of Trip Inside This House!

Wondering if there's any need- or interest, in the old pre-July, 2010, playlists being archived here possibly..?

I've just learned they'll be going away in about two weeks as they're pre-Spinitron, the service we're now using to report & track plays. I know some out there enjoy perusing these while some may not be that interested. (It would involve a LOT of copy/paste on my part but I'd commit to it if there's sufficient interest to warrant the work.)

Thoughts welcomed.

I'm probably too late but, if there is a way to preserve them, I'd be interested in seeing them. I've lost the playlists for my own early shows (1980 -1996) and occasionally regret it.

When did you start the show?

You may be on to something here. (But again, that'd be about 80+ shows individually saved as screen shots.) The ball remains firmly up in the air on this.

EDIT- you could always go back and save the lists as screen shots/image files. That'd be significantly easier.

Valis,

I'd say no as it sounds like a ton of work. If people are really interested in the old lists they can always email you about it.

But that's just my humble two cents:)

Thanks for the response Roy!

(Just seems sad, to me, that they'll all be disappearing; I have all of them in a notebook I keep/produce for each and every show but no one else has access to it.)

I'm reticent to put the lists on my blog as I've tried to maintain a bit of separation between the two. They're not mutually exclusive, mind you, but I'd like to think the station's website is and should be the repository.

Also, I'd guess the postings would have to be in the Discussion section of the show's page. Really no other place to put them...(they don't qualify as Announcements, nor Wall posts.)

I'd like to seem them, valis!

My solution is going to be to create a Tumblr or Posterous blog so I can easily post all my old playlists there.
