from Nová Syntéza (Bonton 1997) —Progressive Big Band Fusion from the Czech Republic. This band, also known as The Blue Effect recorded this LP in 1971 accompanied by the Czech Radio Jazz Orchestra


Errobi “Ametsaren Bidea” (Elkar 1995) —This morning's Monster Size Epic comes from this Basque band formed in Ustaritz, France (on the border of Spain). Originally released in 1979 on their 3rd LP


Long Distance Calling “Apparitions”
from Avoid the Light (Superball Music 2009) —Post Rock from Münster, Germany. This is the opening track to their 2nd album


Darryl Way's Wolf “Saturation Point” (Deram 2001) —Prog Rock also from London. This band was formed by Darryl Way after leaving Curved Air. The group featured future members of Soft Machine, Trace, Marillion and Caravan. Originally released in 1973


Cardiacs “The Everso Closely Guarded Line”
from On Land and In the Sea (The Alphabet Business Concern 1995) —Art Punk/Prog Rock from London. This tune comes from their 4th album. Originally released in 1989
