Time zone: central

Rolling Stones “Moonlight Mile”
from Sticky Fingers (Rolling Stones Records RCA 1971) —No idea why it didn't get much airplay.

Richie Callison “Forever”
from Forever (new song) (Artist produced 2013) L —Local artists new song, and former vocalist for Geezer Butler

Heart “Sing Child”
from Dreamboat Annie (Mushroom 1975) —1976 debut indi release on Mushroom Canada, then became huge! .

Burton Cummings “No Sugar Tonight/ New Mother Nature”
from Live at Massey Hall 2010-2011 (Universal Canada 2011) —Burton turned 65 this year and still sounds great. Wish there wasn't a fake "Guess Who" out there with NO original members playing local casino's and fairs.

KL 11 “the Boat”
from KL 11 (artist release 2013) L —Local band with Lou Babinga who also provided me with this song!

Eric Clapton “Let it Grow (live Hammersmith 74)”
from 461 Ocean Boulevard (Polydor) —A great live version from 74' , Eric sounds just a twinge raspy but it works!

Iron Butterfly “My Mirage”
from in-a-gadda-da-vida (Rhino 1968) L —in tribute to Lee Dorman the bass player of the band from St. Louis, a great heavy band

FM “Phasors on Stun”
from Black Noise (Visa Records 1978) R  —with the incredible electric violin playing of Canadian "Nash the Slash" who appears to be retired for the moment. FM was a nationally known underground band and NOT just known in St. Louis

Post Nuclear Trash “I'm Only What You Want Me to Think”
from PNT (artist release 2012) L —Local current St. Louis band, one of the cluster of new locals that I found.

War “Spill the Wine”
from Best of (Hippo 1971) —Eric Burdon with War, Lee Oskar on Harmonica

John Gillespie “Inside the Magic”
from John Gillespie (self-released 2012) —yet another great local artist

Charlie “Fantasy Girls”
from Charlie (ATM 1976) —the first more prog sounding disc from the band, they were paired on tour with Focus in 76'

American Blues “All I Saw Was You”
from "Is Here" (Akarma 1969) —with Hill and Beard before ZZ Top days

David Bowie “Space Oddity Live”
from BBC (Virgin 1969) —recorded at the Beeb, less produced sounding, more natural!

Eamonn McCormack with Jan Akkerman “Mystica”
from Kindred Spirits (Akustik 2012) N  —Eamonn and Jan Akerman of Focus, very good spanish sounding irish blues if that's possible?

Hot Tuna “Keep On Truckin'”
from Best of (RCA 1972) —Jorma and Jack flying over the Jefferson Airplane

Dwight Twilley Band “I'm on Fire”
from Sincerely (Shelter 1976) —from the first album

Randy Holden “Fruit and Iceburgers”
from Population 11 (Progressive Line 1969) —Randy Holden of Blue Cheer called this Population 2 for the simple reason that there were just 2 of them in the band

The Grass Roots “Temptation Eyes”
from the Best of (MCA 1970) —a great pop song from 70'. Also

Terry Kath “Oh, Thank You Great Spirit”
from Chicago V111 (Rhino 1975) —A soulful tribute to Mr. Hendrix sung a played by Terry Kath!

The Band “Chest Fever”
from Music From Big Pink (Capitol Records 1968) —considered one of their best

Stealers Wheel “Good Businessman”
from Ferguslie Park (UNI 1973) —A cynical song from the 2nd album with Gerry Rafferty

Cream “World of Pain”
from Disreali Gears (Polydor 1967) —the second album and pretty ahead of it's time for 67'

Emerson Lake and Palmer “Tiger in a Spotlight”
from Works Volume 2 (Warner 1977) —lyrics by Pete Sinfield
