Bill Miller “Old Dreams and New Hopes” (Windspirit Music 1987) —Native American singer/songwriter Bill Miller with the title song from his 1st (still my favorite) release. Saw Bill sing this one at Kerrville.


Slaid Cleaves “The Dad Song”
from For the Brave and Free (Continental Song City 2000) —Slaid will be back at Off Broadway this Tuesday with Chojo Jaques, here he honors his Dad from this wonderful, overlooked early cd.

from What's Wrong With Right (Proper Records Ltd 2006) —It seems like this group led by Chris Gaffney & Dave Gonzalez was just hitting it's stride when Chris Gaffney died, this is one of the last songs Chris wrote.
