The Bar-Kays “Soul Finger” from Stax-Volt: The Complete Singles (1959-1968) (Rhino Atlantic 1991) —One of the greatest soul instrumentals of all time. Recorded in 1967 for Stax/Volt. The only surviving member of Otis Redding's plane crash, Ben Cauley, co-wrote this song and was at Off Broadway a couple of weeks back with the Bo-Keys.Buy it!
