Willie Nelson “Blue Eyes Crying In the Rain”
from Red Headed Stranger (Columbia 1975) —WILLIE NELSON recorded “Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain” this week in 1975 and it was released later that year on “The Red Headed Stranger”. Written by Fred Rose, it became Willie’s first #1 song and earned him a Grammy for Best Country Male Vocal.
