Colin Linden “Between the Darkness And the Light of Day”
from Still Live (crosscut records 2012) N —1/3 of Blackie and the Rodeo Kings steps out on his own with a brand new live recording, this one is one of Colin's originals.
J.P. Cormier “I Saw Jesus On The Lawn Last Night”
from Somewhere In The Back Of My Heart (self 2012) N —Nice to have a new release from J.P. and to see that he's recovering from his near fatal 2009 accident, He wrote this thought provoking tune after a cross was burned in the lawn of an interracial Nova Scotia Couple.
Chuck Brodsky “Out of Time and Place”
from Subtotal Eclipse (Chuck Brodsky Records 2011) —Thought this would be a good followup because J.P. Cormier produced, sings, and plays a half dozen instruments on Chuck's latest, plus I think I could be the guy Chuck's singing about.
The Laws “I BELIEVE IN YOU”
from Try Love (JML Music 2011) —Canadian husband and wife John and Michelle also have a new J.P. Cormier produced release, their strongest work yet !!
The Trishas “John Wayne Cowboy”

Bat McGrath “Blue Eagle”

Catherine Britt “Always Never Enough” (ABC Music 2012) N —A cinch for 2012's top ten list due in a week or so, a dozen new songs from Catherine and a great supporting cast, Eliza Gilkyson joins her with harmony vocals on the title cut.
George Sanders “Skipping In the Mississippi Dew”

Bob Bossin “Steamboat Whistle Blues”
from The Roses on Annie's Table (Nick Records 2005) —Always loved this wonderful tribute to John (Who died June 4, 2001) by his friend, Canadian singer/songwriter Bob Bossin, in fact I would very highly recommend Bob's terrific cd, not a weak track on it.
John Hartford “Gentle On My Mind”
from Anthology (Flying Fish 1987) L —How can we not end the set with John himself with the song that paid his bills, a mega hit for Glen Campbell and one of the most covered songs ever. Come to Off Broadway to remember the old riverboat Captain.
