from They Call Us the Trishas (The Trishas 2010) —Great new Texas Quartette, featuring Jamie Wilson, Kelley Mickwee, Liz Foster, & Savannah Welch, daughter of songwriter Kevin Welch, doing a song Kevin Co-wrote, this set features children of songwriters we regularly play on the show.


Chelsea Crowell “I Want My Seven Years Back”
from Chelsea Crowell (Cleft Music 2009) —Chelsea joined by her Dad Rodney, course her Mom is Roseanne and Grandpa Johnny, sounds like she was born to sing.


Lucy Wainwright Roche “Open Season”
from Lucy (Lucy Wainright Roche 2010) —Another good set of genes, Daddy Louden who seems to fall for musical sisters, this time it was Suzy Roche.


Colin Gilmore “Circles in the Yard”
from Goodnight Lane (Colin Gilmore 2010) —Last of our offspring set, makes me feel way too old !! Colin was in town recently at The Old Rock House opening for his Dad Jimmy and his Flatlander buddies.

from Master Sessions (Red Beet www.redbeetrecords.com 2010) —One of 2 Great releases this year from Peter Cooper, Eric Brace from Last Train Home home joins him on this one, along with 2 of their heros Lloyd Green and Mike Auldrige

from Hunter Hunter (Six Shooter Records 2009) —New Discovery Canadian Curran with one of my very favorite songs of the past year


Great Big Sea “Nothing But A Song”
from Safe Upon the Shore (Warner Music Canada 2010) —Another one from my top ten list, not a week song on the cd produced by Los Lobo's saxaphone player Steve Berlin


Mark Erelli “Basement Days”
from Little Vigils (Hillbilly Pilgrim Records 2010) —If you remember the 60's and 70's you'll remember the songs in the chorus


Jonas Fjeld & Chatham County Line “Brother of Song” (RCA Records Label 2009) —Great collaberation with norwegian singer songwriter, fjeld and Chatham County Line, Chatham County Line without Fjeld will be at Off Broadway Saturday, February 5


Tom Pacheco with Steinar Albrigtsen “You Know”
from I'll Leave A Light On For You (Trackattack Records 2010) —Tom Pacheco dedicated this one to his brother, Paul who died this past year, joined on this duet by his Norweigen buddy, Steinar, who produced the cd.


Adrian Brannan with Tom Russell “Stories We Could Tell”
from Boots and Pearls (self 2009) —Teenage songstress joined by Tom Russell on this great John Sebastian song, Tom also produced the cd.


Kasey Chambers with Kevin Bennet “Love Like A Hurricane”
from Little Bird (Liberation 2010) —Another wonderful set from Kasey, joined by Kevin Bennet lead singer for the ozzie band The Flood.


Katy Moffatt with Julian Dawson “Kind Woman (feat. Julian Dawson)”
