The Kingston Trio “Farewell (Fare Thee Well My Own True Love)” from The Kingston Trio (Rainbow 1991) —The second version of the trio after John Stewart replaced Dave Guard, the other members were Bob Shane and Nick Reynolds, Shane is the only surviving member from this legendary group.Buy it!

Danny & Dusty “Knockin' On Heaven's Door” from The Lost Weekend (Prima 1985) —Dan Stuart (Green on Red) & Steve "Dusty" Wynn (The Dream Syndicate) got together and recorded this great album 25 years ago, still a classic today. Catch Steve at Twangevest.Buy it!
Oh Susanna “Billy 4” from Short Stories (Outside Music 2007) R —from Sam Peckinpah's "Pat Garret & Billy The Kid" Bob wrote the music and acted in the movie along with Kris Kristopherson and James Coburn.Buy it!

Elana James “ONE MORE NIGHT” from Elana James (Snarf Records 2006) —Elana (recently changed her name from Fremerman) of Hot Club Of Cowtown, traveled and played with Dylan's Never Ending Tour for about a year, might be where she learned this song.Buy it!

Traveling Wilburys “Tweeter And The Monkey Man” from Traveling Wilburys Vol 1 (Warner Bros 1988) —Short lived supergroup featuring Roy Orbison (last project before his death), Jeff Lynne, Tom Petty, George Harrison and Bob Dylan. Bob sings this parody of Bruce Springsteen references.Buy it!
Barrance Whitfield w/Tom Russell “Blind Willie McTell” from Hillbilly Voodoo (East Side Digital 1993) —One of 2 collaborations between Barence and Tom (the other was "Cowboy Mambo") Andrew Hardin on scorching lead guitar.Buy it!
Steve Ripley “Down, Down (I Don't Believe You)” from Ripley (Boy Rocking Records 2002) —A brillant and largely overlooked album by Tulsa based Ripley (The Tractors, Leon Russell) mixes Dylan chorus into his own song.Buy it!
Weddings Parties Anything “If You Gotta Go” from Donkey Serenade (WPA) —From the fabulous Aussie band and their lead singer/songwriter Mick Thomas, unfortunatley not together anymore, if you haven't heard them do yourself a favor and go out and sample their great musical legacy.Buy it!
