Ando Drom “Mori gázsbi”
from Ando Drom (WMD 1995) —note the finger napping and milk jug as the only "instrumentation" for this rolled song - quite purist, compared with their later work
Szászcsávás band “scat Csárdás and Szokö/with instruments”
from Live in Chicago ((self)) —these guys come from a village in Transylvania that originally had Romanians, Hungarians, Germans and Roma living there. These are the dances the Roma do for themselves.
Ilmi Jašarov “Selsko Rûchenitsa”
from (45 rpm disc) (Beogradisk) —another solo dance, this one enjoyed by both Roma and non-Roma. Like the Bulgarian version, it is in fast 7/8
Like everything else, times are approximate.
