Madeleine Peyroux “Changing All Those Changes”
from The Blue Room (Decca 2012) N —Written by Buddy Holly and found on her new release which just came out this week. Can't go wrong with the rhythm section of David Pilch (bass) and Jay Bellerose (drums).
Randy Newman “Mama Told Me Not To Come”
from 12 Songs (Reprise 1970) —Written by Randy Newman and found on his 1970 second album release. This album features Ry Cooder and Clarence White on guitar.
Rodriguez “I Wonder”
from Cold Fact (Light In The Attic 2008) —The bass-line by Bob Babbitt is so freakin' great on this track. The 2013 Oscar (TM) winning documentary about Rodriguez is now available. Highly recommended.
