The Posies “Apology” from Dear 23 CD ALBUM (AAD 1990) —Sometimes I forget how good these guys were back in the day - this song could've been reason enough for them to be in the reincarnated Big Star.Buy it!


R.E.M. “Maps and Legends” from Fables Of The Reconstruction (25th Anniversary Edition) (IRS/Capitol 1985N  —One of those swirly type R.E.M. songs - guitar arpeggios and Mike Mills counterpoint.Buy it!


Pete Townshend “Slit Skirts” from Gold CD COMP (Hip-O 1995) —Of all the songs with the line "Recriminations fester," this is easily my favorite.Buy it!
