The dB's “Write Back” from Falling Off the Sky (Bar/None Records 2012N  —If you only go to one rock show this year, I think it should be the dB's at the Duck Room Nov. 17. The original line-up has never played St. Louis, and odds are they never will again. Do not miss this one.Buy it!


Paul Simon “She Moves On” from The Rhythm of the Saints (Warner Brothers) —This album confounded me when it was new - following up Graceland was just too formidable a task for anybody. But there are some very nice songs here, including this intoxicating gem.Buy it!
