The June 25th, 2011 edition of the KDHX Harvest Sessions featured Brian Henneman (The Bottle Rockets/Diesel Island) and Kip Loui (Diesel Island). Brian and Kip brought a stripped down version of Diesel Island to the West Pool Pavllion. Outlaw country covers at their best on a summer Saturday morning.

It's not an unknown story in popular music. Band records its best record. Band breaks up. Album disappears.

The story of the Rockhouse Ramblers, once the foremost hard country band in St. Louis, and their "lost album," has a happier ending. Though the band dissolved five years ago, the players have remained friends and performed together in a variety of other settings (notably Colonel Ford and Diesel Island). And yet their swan song, Lies, and Damn Lies, hasn't seen the light of day until now.
