Of Gods and Men Is a Heavenly Film
Based on a tragic, true story, Of Gods and Men is a meditative, gorgeous film directed by Xavier Beauvois. Events occur in Algeria in the early 1990s as civil war reaches the monastery of eight Cistercian monks. They must decide whether they will continue their medical assistance to the local Islamic community or return to France, as they're urged to do.
