Opening up for Owl City at the Pageant Monday night was Days Difference, who were welcomed on stage by a swarm of screaming teenage girls.

Chris Glover is a Manhattan-born musician and remixer who has risen to prominence via his Myspace page and sterling reviews from various indie blogs. Two of his songs, "Golden Train" and "Animal Animal" became indie radio darlings almost overnight and Glover’s remix work for artists like Goldfrapp and Marina & the Diamonds vaulted him into the big leagues of remixers for hire.
It was a hot and sweaty electro party last Thursday at the Firebird. Wallpaper. brought its poppy electronica from Oakland, Calif. to St. Louis for a show at the Gramophone on September 18, and Eric Frederic took the time to chat with me while driving through Missouri. The duo's 2010 release, Doodoo Face (on Eenie Meenie records) encapsulates a party: funky bass lines, weird noises, distorted vocals and playful lyrics. While he boasts a bit of an alter-ego on stage, Frederic and I had a down-to-earth conversation about the group's experiences in Springfield, Mo., White Castle and of course, poo (and music).
