This June I participated in my first 48 Hour Film Project. I had no idea what to expect, but I assumed it would be a horrifying mix of stress and fun. I was right.
Friday, June 1, 8 p.m. I'm looking at the time on my computer. It's exactly 8 p.m. and most of us have arrived at our destination: our teammate James' parents' basement.
My best friend, Mary Davis and I produced a 48 Hour Film Project this year. We have a group of 14 people who helped us.
Friday, June 1 5:46 p.m. Arrived at the Webster University auditorium, and about 60% of the seats were filled. Very anxious to see which genre will get picked this year.

During the weeks leading up to the St. Louis 48 Hour Film Project I was filled with excitement, but as the time grew nearer I started to panic some being a first-time filmmaker and all, but it turned out to be a fantastic experience.
