Fans of Woody Guthrie gathered all around the world on July 14, 2012 to celebrate his legacy. St. Louis proved it has "one big soul," standing tall among the global events as surely one of the best.
On Saturday night St. Louisians turned out en mass to pay tribute to the legendary American singer and songwriter Woody Guthrie.
Veteran St. Louis musicians Greg Silsby and Kevin Liley, members of the bluegrass group Cumberland Gap, performed at the KDHX-sponsored Harvest Sessions.
Best known for their work with Cumberland Gap and the Foggy Memory Boys, Greg Silsby and Jason Scroggins recently teamed up to share their love of old time and bluegrass music in an impromptu configuration.
