It was a night of time machine rock at the Pageant as Montreal synth duo Chromeo lifted up a respectable Monday crowd, many of whom were beaten down by a Cardinals World Series loss moments earlier.

Chromeo's party kept the bodies moving going all night, as P-Thugg (nicely clad in Cardinals gear) and Dave 1 busted out the electro-funk.

There are some who would call the synth-heavy funk pop of the 1980s an unfortunate detour from the cosmic path of the funk mothership.
