This was due not only to the solid performances by Tamaryn and the Raveonettes, but mostly due to the sauna-like conditions at the venue (which is without the modern invention of air conditioning).
Seeing Danish indie rockers the Raveonettes in such an intimate venue at this stage in their career was a special treat for the scores of sweaty fans packed into the Firebird last night.
