Each month, this site features numerous photography pieces based on the work of the intrepid members of KDHX's pool of volunteer photographers.
The Nevermores were the first of three opening bands and were very vocal about how much they appreciated the early birds.
The Sights barreled through their set last night at the Pageant with in-your-face jams, quick and assertive vocals and a whole lot of jumping and swaying. It was hard-rocking and high-energy, the perfect tone to set the stage for Tenacious D.
Call it garage soul, call it ragged power pop, or simply call it rock 'n' roll. But whatever the label, the appeal of the raucous typhoon that erupts when the Sights kick into gear is undeniable.
All photos shot at Euclid Records (with the exception of Jess and Dave of I Went To a Show, which was shot at Vintage Vinyl) as part of Record Store Day weekend in St. Louis.
