The California Guitar Trio are starting a three-month-long tour here in St. Louis at the Old Rock House on Friday, February 24 as part of the club's Listening Room Series.

Rock music is no stranger to improvisation, but the acoustic fusionists of California Guitar Trio find fresh and daring vistas in even the mustiest of classic rock tunes.

Steeped in the heavy rock sound of Grand Funk Railroad, the James Gang and the Black Crowes, the Descending New Angels temper their classic influences with some alternative rock angst and blues rock passion.

Led by Jamaica-born writer, singer, arranger and producer Ashaka, the Ram Jam Reggae Band has been burning up clubs in Saint Louis with their straight-up reggae sound. Hear their live performance from the Smoking Lounge.
