KDHX Presents Tangazo Live Podcast Recording - 2/8/21

Join podcast host Hank Thompson for a live Tangazo podcast recording on Monday, Feb. 8 at 7 PM CT featuring a Black History month regional panel discussion.

Hank has assembled a stellar panel for a regional discussion on serious issues impacting the African American communities in the St. Louis metro area.

The panel includes Mo. State Senator Brian Williams of North County, Antonio French - editorial writer for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Michael Wesley Jones - award winning columnist for the St. Louis American newspaper and Illinois State Representative Latoya Greenwood of the Metro East area.

Planned discussions include legislative efforts in both Jefferson City and Springfield, Ill. to bring about police reform and local efforts to combat violent crime in Black communities throughout the metro area; local politics including the importance of the mayor’s race in St Louis and the leadership issue with St. Louis County Council and the distribution of the Covid-19 vaccine in communities of color.
