Show Description: 
Slow jams with a touch of sass (mid tempo music). Musical selections from the 50's through current day.

What would would you like to share with KDHX listeners and readers about yourself?

• Inducted into The Black RADIO Hall of Fame October 7, 2023.
• Worked Traffic with Allen Barkledge at KSLQ(KY98). While there served as News Anchor and produced the show 60 Seconds For You.
• News Director at WESL on the East Side and wrote a Radio-TV Pro-gram for School District 189 and then left elementary teaching to work at the Lincoln Sr. High to teach Mass Communications and Radio Broadcasting. Also teaching Mass Com. at State Community College.
• Began radio in News at KKSS as Weekend News Anchor in 1975.
• Her radio career spans nearly 50 years. 
• Has served as Alderwoman for 11 years in Fairview Heights, IL. and Precinct Committeeman for 20 plus years.
• Non-profit since 2006, The Broadcast Center, nfp.
• For the last five years has worked as a Communication Specialist for St. Clair County Transit District. 

Please describe the inspiration for your show.
Working at Magic 108 is where I worked The Ballad and The Beat of Love and I loved it so much that it's back!

Why does being a KDHX DJ matter to you?
Being a KDHX DJ matters to me because I feel like I am touching the pulse of the public and sharing joy and love through the music. Music is inspirational, calming, and nostalgic!

Why is KDHX important to you and to your community?
KDHX is important to the community because it is informative, enlightening, spreads joy, and shares "THE KEY OF LIFE...MUSIC!"

What are some of your favorite KDHX shows?

RSVP with Edie B., Time Travelers with G.Wiz and DJ Lady Jock (one of my former RADIO Broadcasting students), Nothing But the Blues with Ron Edwards, Tangazo with Hank Thompson, Radio Riot with Kalonda Kay, Night Grooves with Orlandez, World Disco Adventure with Flavio. Too many to name. I have listened to KDHX and I really love the current array of shows!
