RE: Living History

In CAM’s courtyard, as part of Stephanie Syjuco: Rogue States, hangs a flag featuring a design by Mark Twain to protest the US takeover of the Phillipines in 1899. Richard Garey, who regularly plays Twain at Hannibal’s Planter’s Barn Theatre, brings his portrayal to CAM, and then steps out of the role to discuss issues of re-enactment and the fabrication of history.
